Great food and atmosphere, Helpful and friendly staff. One of the best pubs with food in London,

Generally ok however, we were sat in the conservatory which had two entrances which people kept walking through and leaving the doors open - felt like being in a barn, impacted on the otherwise good experience. Wholesome food, portions perfect and well presented, not too much on the menu which suggested all freshly prepared and not heated from a freezer. Staff attentive and were able to add a seat at short notice which was really kind.

A great local pub serving wonderful food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Regularly changing menu offering freshly cooked, innovative and delicious food. Equally good for a quick drink or a longer visit. Love it!

The Chancery delivers yet again. Sunday lunch with family including my 93 year old father in his wheelchair. The guys working there were all beyond helpful and attentive and wanting to ensure we had a great experience, which we did. We sat outside as it’s quieter for my father (his hearing aid picks up every background noise especially indoors in a crowded room) and again we were more than well looked after. This is one of the many reasons why my brother and I bring our father here at least once a week. It’s simply his favourite place to eat out. Keep doing everything you do.
