Welcome to the Kings Head in Coltishall! We are a traditional village pub located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. We pride ourselves on our warm atmosphere and classic British pub food. At the Kings Head, you'll find a great selection of cask ales, lagers, wines and spirits at the bar. Our menu features pub classics like fish and chips as, as well as daily specials made with fresh, local ingredients. We also have a fantastic A la carte menue & On Sundays, we serve a delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings. The pub has plenty of seating in our main bar area, restaurant and beer garden so you can always find a spot. We're located right in the village just a short walk from the River Bure. The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers an unforgettable dinning experience alongside a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. The 4 guest bedrooms offer stylish relaxing ensuite accommodation, perfect for a special getaway, overnight stay or weekend break (dog friendly).

    A party of seven celebrating a birthday on Sunday lunchtime. A welcoming face greeted us as we are returning guests. Everyone chose from the roast menu,3 lamb shanks and four pork meals. All the food was fantastic and our friends cannot wait to return when they next visit. Even a power cut could not detract from a great lunch. Book a table you will not be disappointed

    Great meal. Very accommodating for my 102 year grandmother. Brooke was a particularly great hostess. My only gripe is that they can’t accept tips via the card machine. We had cash but the staff must be loosing out on a lot of tips. Great experience all round.

    Fabulous as always ❤️ Staff amazing Food exceptional My favourite place in Norwich And the new lions den ... is such a beautiful new addition.. Cosy , warming outdoor little den with firepits , blankets , mulled wine , toasting marshmallows,outdoor saunas , pure genius ambience... nothing beats this place in Noriwch It's a must go to !!
