Populairste grill in Houghton-Le-Spring

I visited the restaurant with a friend and we both ate from the Express Lunch menu. The range of food on offer was excellent. The quality of the food was also excellent. The serving staff were very attentive but not intrusive. I would highly recommend this venue and will be going back next month as I was really impressed with my overall experience.

Lunch time menu, 3 courses excellent value, steak great flavour, cannot fault any part of this meal,I was told the meat is locally sourced, which is good to know,from the chef to the front of house, service was spot on. Very friendly, will return.

It’s my second time visiting Durham and had to come to this restaurant again. It was as good as I remembered, the food is delicious, the service is great and the ambiance transports you to Turkey! It’s on my must visit list for whenever I come to Durham again.

What an amazing place Surrounding and venue itself is beautiful very tastefully decorated and the right amount of space between diners We arrived and were shown quickly to our table , then given snacks . These were a pre taste of the food to come and oh my god they were so tasty , the venison salami was honestly the best I’ve tasted and when we asked it was homemade on the premises . Everything we ate was so flavourful and presented on amazing crockery . I could say what dish was my favourite but I did enjoy the deserrt and I’m not a dessert fan The wine (Austrian) recommended to accompany the duck dish was just perfect We will be back it was faultless

Had a great meal, the flat iron steak is delicious and very good price. Everything is beautifully presented, and tastes as good as it looks. The only ever so slight minus was that the chips have changed. We always get the triple cooked chips and they have been in the past exceptionally good, and thick cut. Now they are skinny chips and while very good, not as good as previously. Please bring back the thick cut chips.
