Really good food here. Everything was well seasoned temperatures were good. Waiter was very attentive to us, made sure everyone was good all night. Really good outcome of the bill too. Nothing crazy, definitely worth the value

The customer service was excellent. The cod fish fritter were salty. The oxtails were tough but tasty. The Gríot was great. The shrimp and grits were good but the grits were hard. The Lychee martini and Lemon drops could use less favor qnd a little more alcohol. They charge gratuity for a party of 3 but it was fine.

I always enjoy coming to Dunns River. The music is good, the food is amazing and it’s the only sit down Caribbean experience that is top tier compared to the normal hole in the wall establishments with the plex glass separating the customers. Home run for date night. My only wish is that the music isn’t so loud all the time. It’s so hard to have a conversation. I stayed away from Friday & Saturday and picked a weekday date night thinking it would be a quieter background noise kind of night. Nope. We were still shouting at each other. After our meal we ending up walking around in the rain so we could hear each other lol. Something to consider for management maybe.

Service was great and the patio space is a must for date night.
