Masuya Restaurant is located in a building, which has been designated as a cultural asset, on O’Connell Street in Sydney. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980. AMAZING! Food was as always so delicious and the service was wonderful. Verfy friendly staff. I took my house guest, visiting from Japan, here for his Birthday and he LOVED it. I informed the restaurant ahead of time that we would be celebrating a Birthday and they went out of their way for him, the made a birthday tray with scoops of icecream, a candle and written Happy Birthday and his name. Then thay sang Happy Birthday. Absolutely the best experience for all of us.

We went on a Friday night, a group of 6. We chose our own courses, everything was amazing. The Chiefs selection sashimi was done of the best any of us had eaten. The cocktails and wines were fabulous. Even in a very busy restaurant the staff were incredibly attentive and the meals arrived at a nice pace. We will be back and highly recommend you visit.
