The Salt Line - Navy Yard offers indoor STANDARD seating and OUTDOOR Patio Seating. Our OUTDOOR riverfront patio seating has been winterized and is now comfortably available all year round. The OUTDOOR reservations area has been tastefully enclosed in clear insulated curtains that still provide a scenic river view and is well protected, well heated and honored all weather. Additionally we offer FIREPIT LOUNGE reservations in our large outdoor bar area and first come first served bar, hightop and lounge seating. Please note: the Outdoor Bar area with hightops is covered and well heated but the fire pit and lounge seating is uncovered and so weather permitting. Food and drinks were great. The "stuffies" were perfect as was the baked cod and baked scallops. Lobster bisque was disappointing. One small piece of lobster and an overly seasoned (tarragon) base. Outstanding service.

The third recent meal at Black Bar & Kitchen, and this one also was excellent. My big, juicy burger nailed it - great meat, cooked perfectly (medium rare), fresh onion slice and crispy fries! My wife’s Branzino was well-seasoned and very fresh and tasty. We love the bar and high top table area - more fun than the dining room for couples. Wine’s were pricey- $17-$20 / glass - except for the delightful Malbec - just $9! I had two glasses at that price. Black’s keeps us coming Back!
