Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Our commitment is to quality, we use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas.We use independent producers as long term partners, including Fior Di Latte Mozzarella sourced from Caserta, and wines imported directly from private Italian growers. Great food, attention from staff and was a little inconstant. Appreciated not being rushed but did have to signal several times to get attention. Already really nice venue atmosphere was good without impacting our ability to have a casual conversation. Will be back for sure.

Waiting staff were friendly and efficient and there is a lot of choice on the menu across all courses. We shared a small anti-pasti plate to start between three which was the perfect size (it would probably be big enough for a main for one person). And I had the Amalfini pizza which was delicious. The portion size is good, the ingredients fresh and there's a promotion of 15% on Monday & Tuesday if you sign up to Club IR (which is free to do). The venue itself was busy and lively, but not too noisy and there is outdoor seating which would be lovely in the warmer weather. With the discount and optional service charge, our meal was £56 pp which included 2.5 courses (with the sharing platter for a starter) and a bottle of Prosecco, so I would consider it somewhere to go for a treat/celebration, but would definitely recommend and visit again.

The staff were truly excellent and went out of their way to accommodate my very tricky dietary problems. I haven’t been to pizza east in years but it’s as buzzy, lovely and delicious as ever.
