A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Excellent food and drinks, great service! A bit loud indoors on the weekends, so keep in mind if you want to have dinner conversations. They were able to seat us outside, which was quieter. Overall lovely experience! I have been here several times before and the staff is consistently friendly and accommodating.

Had a great time at ECB before the LCD Soundsystem show. We sat in the side/banquet room, which was nice. Staff was attentive and friendly. The food was awesome all around. Drinks were good. 5/5 experience, would return.
