Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. Lovely place for lunch around Southwark. Nice view rooftop and a little Mediterranean garden ambience would be perfect for quick brunch with friends in the summer time. While lobster rice was delicious!

Really nice restaurant in a great location. Good, authentic food on a small but varied menu with lots of drinks options. Friendly staff. Food portions were more than adequate but lose a star for having cold dining plates at the table. I was also surprised at a hefty 13.5% tip automatically added to the bill - 10% OK, 12.5% maybe - but 13.5% - not really on as, for example, this effectively put our £40 bottle of wine at £45.40 ... £5.40 for bringing it to the table in an ice-bucket and opening the bottle! All in all - a good experience - four adults with a mix of starters and mains to share, with one bottle of wine - £180 - a bit steep for lunch, but as my wife said, "We are in London"
