The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish art deco masterpiece featuring two distinct dining spaces, historic bar and live Jazz. The front entrance leads guests to the elegant front dining room with the stage being the focal point. The back entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. Great food. Long wait for food from the kitchen. Server was amazing. I’m editing my review to say the wait for food was due to a full restaurant following a Lions game but the wait was worth it.

Absolutely amazing service! Our server, Tyra J. was incredibly attentive, super friendly, and made our dining experience unforgettable. She had great suggestions that perfectly matched what we were looking for and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. Highly recommend this place, especially with such outstanding service!

My wife and I went on a Thursday evening. It was quiet. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and we can't wait to come back when there's live music. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the ribeye and lobster and she had the duck. We both were pleased. Looking forward to our next meal here.
