Originally from New York, Owner Big John brought his love of Italian food to our little island. He then married it to his love of tropical birds and established the restaurant in 1989. The huge portions and creative cuisine quickly made New York Pasta Garden a local favorite, and we continue that tradition to this day.The fresh seafood and friendly staff will keep you coming back for more! We offer the largest pour of house wine you will find on the island and a have great wine list by the bottle. We strive to have something on our menu for every palette and dedicate ourselves to make your experience both memorable and delightful.
A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.
