Playful regional elements such as hand-painted farm signs and traditional folk art are also used throughout the space in honor of the D.C. restaurants regional influences. In warmer weather, an expansive front patio provides an al fresco dining option with a fire-pit and grill.
Anabelas Kitchen got its name from the owner and head chef Anabela Campos-Neves of Portugal. The unique take on both German and Mediterranean foods on display is a break from a traditional restaurant. Dishes available to order change daily with new creations made by the chef each time. When you sit in the comfortable atmosphere of Anabelas Kitchen, you never know what you're going to be ordering and indulging in until you see it being served to you.
