It all started in 1992, when Annette and Gerner Andresen opened the Lighthouse Café in Sausalito in its present form. The Andresens, both born in Denmark, had recently immigrated to the U.S., and along with them they brought the Scandinavian flair for simplicity, good quality and tasty food. The café has over the years become famous for its breakfast and lunch, with American classics like good old-fashioned burgers and a great selection of omelets, along with Scandinavian classics like Danish Meatballs or Norwegian Salmon.     We had not been back to Biscuits and Blues for quite a while, and it is a terrific venue for jazz. The staff could not be more accommodating, the music was terrific, reminding us of our years in New Orleans. We went for the music--the dinner was not the focus; however, we had an experienced New Orleans chef with us--someone who grew up in New Orleans and whose meals have spoiled us--so by comparison, the food was fine but not extraordinary. Go for the total experience, and have a wonderful time

    The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, the cocktail menu is thoughtful, original and tasty, bespoke NA cocktails available as well for those avoiding spirits. Beautiful decor, great music selection and nearby parking.

    experience was great. They got the door for soon as he walked in greeted us took her jackets hung them up seated us at a nice table. Our first time viewed the menu. Hi Valentine ordered the red snapper. I ordered the oxtail pasta. What a great choice will definitely go back, our waiter was awesome. He made his feel at home. What a great experience.
