Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. We have an outside terrace with heaters and umbrellas but of course, we can't promise the weather! A lovely tapas bar right in the middle of Soho, staff are great, warm friendly welcome. Food good - my one issue was the music, it’s unbelievably bad 😂 literally Black Sabbath- in a tapas bar in Soho ?! It doesn’t make any sense! Then U2 Sunday Bloody Sunday - I actually like that song but it’s just totally out of kilter with the place! Apart from that all really good!

The Spanish/Italian small plates menu is perfect for a light pre-theatre dinner. Recommended if you are going to Drury Lane, the Lyceum or the Royal Opera House as they are all within 3-4 minutes walk.

This is a very good restaurant for pre-theatre or a quick meal. It is unpretentious but staff are friendly. It feels like it has been here for many years and has a traditional feel to it - which we like. We have been here several times and always enjoyed it. Apart from the obvious tapas choices, our favourite is Judias Blancas con Chorizo (white bean stew with chorizo).
