I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. No matter how crowded this restaurant is, you can actually talk to your tablemates without shouting. No beat-beat music blaring in the background. Oh, and excellent food. Tonight, we had branzino filleted tableside with a light lemony beurre blanc, chicken scarparello on the bone, and a great chicken parmigiana. The drinks from the bar are very generous and well-made. Particular commendations to the staff from Shawn to "Julius" who did yeoman service. Another great evening at Lenny's.

My wife and I dined here for the very first time yesterday (11/23/24) along with our children in early celebration of our Wedding Anniversary. Let me first say, definitely family friendly! We had the calamari and mussels as appetizers. Then the porter house for 2 along with brussel sprouts, mushrooms, and mac and cheese. I end this by saying it was worth every penny!

First time. Met Peter who is VERY present in the front of the house which a nice. Seemed understaffed as service was the weak spoke. But the meat was very nicely done and the busy staff were all friendly. Will be back.
