Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely place if noisy once it filled up. Excellent service from helpful and prompt waiters. Portions were small but delicious. Not sure I’d recommend or go again.

Food was great! Every tapas, ( pastel bacalhau/ alheira pastel) main dish ( pork, picanha, bacalhau à Brás) was beautifully cooked. Very authentic and the desserts were simple but that’s what really we were looking for. Pastel de nata as usual never disappoints especially with the canela ice cream. I am Portuguese therefore I am able to judge authentic food and I was happily surprised with quality. Service was kind and attentive. Highly recommend

Wonderful venue, with wonderful staff and food/wine. The food quality and menu options are excellent, the wine options are varied but it is hard to go wrong with any bottle on there. Always busy so do book. Tables are smaller on average but this adds to the intimacy of the dining experience.

Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We had the Sunday roast £25 offer which was good value for money and very tasty. The jazz singer was lovely too. The only thing is it gets incredibly noisy because of the high ceilings and industrial design. Would recommend though because of service and food.
