Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. As soon as Amy Chanta flung open the doors in 1989 Chat Thai became an instant smash hit with Sydney diners already familiar with Thailand and no appetite for compromising on ingredients, flavours, textures and aromas. Great place to go, especially if you have a play to catch at the Opera House. Conveniently situated by the trains and Light rail. Food was really tasty, staff very attentive, and the restaurant very busy, it is best to book. We will definitely return there.
