Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience. The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace.
