Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. This restaurant is my new favourite for vegetarian delights! The lasagna reminds me of my Nonna’s with a little added kick of heat! Incredible! Amazing mushroom “calamari” and a very nice drink selection. It was a little loud for my preference but that won’t stop me from coming back. Excellent date vibes and wonderful staff. Our server was friendly, accommodating and made the whole experience for us.

The food here was incredible. Everything melted in your mouth and I think most carnivores wouldn’t miss meat one bit. The service was wonderful, the wine list was great and we couldn’t complain about a thing!

Great staff. Had a minor celebration for my mom and they went above and beyond. View was amazing as always, desert was great, and food was enjoyable. Also a great spot for after work drinks as well.

Love this restaurant. This time was a business type meeting and my colleague was more than 30 minutes late. The staff was great - no pressure to order etc. enjoyed the food immensely. She is not a vegetarian but loved it!!
