Lexi made our evening fun and light! She knew the menu well and was great with questions. The family style dining was perfect. We enjoyed the Flat Iron and Half Chicken entrees. Both were cooked to perfection! We will be back. Thanks to all staff but especially Lexi!! Merry Christmas! Lee

The Food @ Modern Steak on Stephen Avenue is really good, everything is flavourful and flavoured well. Even the Caesar Salad was perfectly balanced in flavours. We went with a group of 4 and got the Modern Steak Shareable Platter with nearly 40oz of Steak, the Flat Iron and Filet were incredible. If you have the money to splash you might find Modern too boring for you, but if you aren’t quite as fortunate in life and have to pick and choose nights out, I would recommend Modern Steak and you shouldn’t be disappointed. Once in a lifetime experience for some and definitely worth it for that alone.

My family had a good experience at Modern Steak Southport. It was my husband and I’s wedding anniversary and my birthday celebration at the same time and they gave us free dessert for our celebration. We were very thankful. They steak was very tasty and their garlic buns are so delicious and their free popcorns. It was a great night indeed!

We sat at the bar for a drink and despite the bartender being obviously very busy, he was so friendly and chatty. He provided us with fun info about their cocktail collection, as well as information about the current cocktail scene in Calgary. It was so lovely getting to speak with him and he was definitely a major part of our experience being as great as it was. Drinks were delicious and unique as well!

Really great meal and experience. The SOT rice is insane! Service was very attentive and polite.
