Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. We offer a bar space, an upstairs restaurant dining room and three unique spaces that are can be booked for private dining perfect for special events.RESERVATIONS: are for a two hour sitting. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays. OUTSIDE SEATING: please note this is subject to the weather and we may not be able to move your reservation inside in the case of bad weather. Group of three for birthday dinner before a show at Princess theatre. Everything we had was fresh and tasty and just right. We recommend the sausage, cheese balls Greek salad, meatballs and for dessert orange filling pita and halva ice cream combo is to die for. Will recommend and go again. Only downside for me is the noise, there was felt running along the wall but the business should consider an acoustic treatment to the ceiling too.

Love the pasta and the straciatella and potato focacia. Wagyu rump cap was also cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the olive cake which was light and delicious.

Had the best time at Love Letter restaurant and bar! The super friendly and attentive team made me feel so welcome right from the start. The Splice cocktail is AHHH-mazing – legit tasted like the ice cream! I also had the 250g eye fillet and wedge salad with thick-cut bacon, and wow, it was absolutely delicious. Such a fantastic spot – can’t wait to go back!
