It began with a love for wine –– doesn’t it always? Frequenting wine shops throughout California and the world, we learned a thing or two (and consumed our fair share of glasses). We learned which wines could coax out our dancing shoes on the weekend and which ones were the perfect wind-down to a busy schedule. We learned about grape varietals, flavor profiles, and that back-of-the-nose taste that precedes the perfect sip. So, what’d we do with this love of wine? Dining at Vicini was a very enjoyable experience. It is a much nicer and better restaurant than the one that was there previously for many years.

Another fine meal at this establishment. Good, solid dishes. Menu is a bit limited, with only 4 options for secondi plus two specials for total of 6 entrees to choose from. The portion size could be slightly larger for the pastas considering they are priced a bit higher than other fine Italian dining venues in the area. They didn't prepare the Cacio a Pepe tableside as they did before. It was delicious and probably the highlight dish of the night. Would definitely recommend for solid Italian dining, but not quite on level with some of the top Italian dining spots (Angelini Osteria, et al.) .

Great example of Galician food and delicious! And best beer in the world of Estrella Galicia, and on tap! Don’t know of any other place in L.A. that has Estrella Galicia on tap.
