Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. This is authentic Greek food. The food is delicious and the service excellent. High quality all the way, it was great taking my non Greek friends here and them discovering that Greek food is more than the standard grill taverna food. They all loved it from entree to dessert. The fish of the day was succulent and tasty.

Carlton wine room is a well oiled machine. A genuine effort to make the dining experience special but still remain approachable and keeping the vibe. Took my partner there last night for her birthday and it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a few years. Well done guys, we’ll be back!

The food and cocktails were standout, there wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy (and we tried 3/4 of the menu!). The kingfish and chicken pâté were our favourites, and the oysters were really fresh and zingy. The service was efficient and friendly, and our food came out quickly. We agreed that next time we would choose a table in the bar over the main seating areas, as the converted ‘cells’ don’t get a lot of natural light. However, if you’re looking for something cozy and intimate these rooms certainly fit the brief!
