Chef/owner Nicola is one of the top Italian chefs in LA. He is at the center of Osteria Vera, in their open kitchen, preparing and overseeing the preparation of everything. His food is delicious. We had the Hamachi crudo, topped with lemon and shaved bottarga, the Lechuga salad, another pasta dish with spaghetti and more bottarga (our favorite) and the roast duck. I love duck and this was prepared perfectly; meaty and tender pieces with crisp skin. The service was excellent; friendly, attentive, well paced.

This is truly one of the most special restaurants in LA! I can't wait to return -- and to try their new restaurant Koast opening in 2025!

Shrimp scampi and burrrata are 10/10 Our server was super attentive.

We were in for a birthday celebration starting from the host to the servers. Everyone made it so special thank you.

A very nice tapas & wine place. Great selection of wines by the glass & nice live guitar music!
