Next, choose between cavatelli with Manila clams and smoked trout roe, or butternut squash raviolo with winter black truffle. For the main course, savor options such as wagyu striploin, halibut, chicken roulade, or cone cabbage. End the night on a sweet note with red berry panna cotta and chocolate semifreddo. Always top tier service. Everyone is so kind there and I love going there to get away from all the noise in the city and it’s very private and I don’t have to be incognito wearing my shades.

The hostess was not very nice, pretty much not friendly at all. Gave us not the table we reserved. After we complained they gave us a better table and we had a good time. Unfortunately, that experience can ruin your evening. Hostess is the face of the establishment and it makes all the difference in the world!

good overall but weird chaotic dance club music on xmas eve. feels really off for the restaurants. should be much more background, elegant, quiet, relaxing.

Very quiet because it is very empty, even during all the craziness during the holidays, this place has no customers. They changed the menu. Fine. However, it is difficult to find something tempting to order. The swordfish portion was about 4 ounces - didn’t even look appetizing and was $40+. The chicken was 1/2 chicken portion and the flavor was good, but it came cold and they took it away and just reheated it, drying it out. Again, $40+ for chicken sitting on beans. The staff was very nice but overall, I would not go back and would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Culina exceeds expectations in all respects. The food is superb. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful without hovering. We ate at Culina some time ago and it was good enough to reprise; but it has improved itself a lot since then. Now it is one of the premier Italian restaurants in Los Angeles.
