First of all, the seasonally freshfFood was outstanding, and the decor was on point. The menu had changed from what I saw online, and many of the dishes that were labeled gluten free had been changed and were no longer gluten free. The was the first bit of dissappointment, because I had planned my order around what was available. The service was prompt but they brought out the wrong dish for our table neighbors and to us, for exactly the same pinxtos; a substitution of a plate of three smaller dishes(pickled veggies, marcona almonds, and spanish olives) versus the larger order of just spanish olives that we ordered. The termperature for the inside seating was slightly colder than I expected. I realise that being a tapas place they expect you to order wine or mixed cocktails to keep you warm while you eat. The customers around us averaged an age of 65-70, and so I expected the temperature to be about 5 to 10 degrees warmer. I looked warmer on the patio with the heaters blazing with the temperature outside being closer to 45 to 50 degrees that night.

Great happy hour. Limited selection of wine, but the Spanish wine was quite good. Lots of choices on tapas. Prices a bit high, but reasonable. Since the happy hour is only 90 minutes long, it got quite noisy in the last half hour.

The food was excellent and the staff was attentive. We shared the Halibut with Risotto, Farmers Salad and the Octopus. All were done well and delicious.

The service we received was extremely disappointing. We waited a long time for hot water, but they eventually served cold water, which my wife couldn’t drink. The halibut was undercooked on the first attempt, and the second time, they gave us a smaller portion with burnt vegetables underneath. It wasn’t just us—everyone in the dining room seemed to be complaining about the service. This turned out to be a disastrous Thanksgiving dinner, and we will never be returning!!

Something seemed to have gone wrong with execution of their Thanksgiving dinner special. Service was exceptionally slow and food was below average in taste and preparation quality. We ordered a few items from the regular menu that were much better, hopefully this was an unfortunate one off.

Overbooked. I called in advance to confirm that they would have an a la carte menu for thanksgiving, which the restaurant confirmed. When we got there they had a limited menu. There was not a manager on site. And the staff was poorly trained. Avoid!

They oversubscribed reservations far beyond what they could handle. A main course ran out before 7 pm. They seated us in a back room overlooking a filling station. No server appeared until we twice went to the front desk and complained. The food was cold and mostly tasteless.

We went for the Thanksgiving menu, a special 3-course offering. We had 6:45p reservations but it seemed there was no plan for where to seat us. We were lead to a cold, dark table on the patio, away from the heat lamps and without a candle or light source to read our menus. The atmosphere was very disgruntled and after a short while we picked up on why....orders kept being delivered to the wrong tables and returning to the kitchen. Our waitress confirmed what we ordered multiple times, trying to keep us straight from the others. We were told one of the dishes we ordered had ran out (45 min after ordering) so we ordered an alternative and then both the dishes showed up...which was great because the alternative dish was awful. To top off the chaotic night, the family dining next to us had the barkiest dog ever and they couldn't keep it under control. Our bill was very high for a very sub-par experience.
