Lisse Steakhuis was established in 2016 and conceptualized as a tribute to owner Hans Philippo’s Holland hometown of Lisse. While holding true to a fairly traditional American steakhouse menu, Lisse highlights the Dutch cuisine authentically by including an array of unique flavors and ingredients in our menu items, and off-menu featured items. Lisse offers seating on all three floors, an outdoor terrace, and Cigar Lounge on the third floor. In 2023, Jean-François Flechet, our founder, was honored with a knighthood by the prestigious Knighthood of the Brewer's Paddle, recognizing his dedication to Belgian brewing traditions. Our journey began in 2007 at Cincinnati's historic Findlay Market, where Jean-François introduced a traditional Liège-style waffle recipe and a 120-pound cast-iron waffle maker from Belgium.
