Da Emma is a hidden Italian gem located right in downtown Montreal. Since the restaurant itself is located below street level, many people pass by this little trattoria every day without realizing it. The only sign for it is painted on a nearby brick wall in black and white and consists entirely of a downward pointing arrow and the word "Emma". It is because it is a little hard to find that diners feel like they are in on a secret not everyone knows about.Inside, Da Emma goes with a sleek and modern style complete with dark wood tones and white tablecloths. We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas brunch; it was our first visit, and we will certainly return. The staff provided attentive service, and the food was fresh and delicious, offering ample choices ensuring complete satisfaction. The omelette station featured a wide variety of ingredients, and they expertly made me wet scrambled eggs at my request. We highly recommend this establishment as an exceptional brunch option.

My sister and I always celebrate "Christmas Eve, Eve". This year, we were gifted a dinner at Gaspar. What a treat! The restaurant was so beautiful, with its stone walls and beautiful artwork. We were greeted at the front door by staff who quickly helped us remove our coats, which is rare in Montreal. Our waiter was superb...just the right amount of attention. The food was extraordinary! From the Foie Gras pate and Bison tartar appetizers, to the Beef Cheeks and Filet Mignon, you can't go wrong. I will definitely come back!
