Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios. Food is always constantly good. The portion size is just right and presentation is great. Love the servers who never changes. I love that, that means they are happy to work there and treat it right by the restaurant owners. I love going there.

Best Indian food we have ever eaten, hands down. My hubby is a food snob, hyper critical, never satusfied. Well, we went for dinner ( reservations made , thankfully) and had to go back for lunch! The tandori foods were fabulous, lamb , salmon, chicken, and shrimp. Loved the mango chutney, cashew naan (wow) , portabello mushroom appetizer (amazing), brown rice ( spiced with clove and cinnamon) , cardamom ice cream ( so unique) and the wonderfully patient and kind staff ( Nepalese servers and Indian chefs). Everything was off the charts! We were the last to leave both times so of course we had to leave a 100% tip! We will become regulars whenever in town! Job well done, Ajanta!

food was great, and the view and ambience are unbeatable, and our server was very nice, but the service was extremely slow but I will go back again because they've just reopened under new management and they have a good menu as well.
