Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Excellent atmosphere. Definietly recommend. Its our second time there and again we came with our infant daughter and they were unprepared. They accommodated but only after they realized that their approach would hamper our childs safety and then they complied. Exact same thing happened the time before. Please train your staff to handle seating families with infants that will remain in their stroller basket. THe unprepared approach makes it a bit annoying.

Income here because for not much more money than most other places you get amazing attitude-less service and impeccable quality standards. That said, $30 for a plate of Eggs Benedict might include a more generous amount of potaotes and perhaps even include a small side salad of frisée with sauted lardon and melted Gruyère on baguette. Just sayin.

Our dining experiences have always been awesome at Milestones Dixon! On this visit the delicious food (Wham-Bam shrimp, wagyu beef meatloaf, marsala pork chops) did not disappoint and wonderful staff (Stephen, Sumaya, Kit) made us feel welcome and look forward to our next visit. Thank you 🙏
