Beste brunchrestaurants in Ilkeston

Our family and four had a booking for the three course Sunday lunch. The sevice was excellent as was the food. My roast beef was cooked to perfection - really tender. My husband's lamb shank was delicious and both my daughters enjoyed the chicken breast. All the vegetables were cooked properly - compliments to the chef. We all dessert - eclaires for two, lemon posset for me and ginger sponge for my husband. All excellent. Having said this, perhaps the option of a two-course Sunday menu would be welcome as the portion sizes are quite generous. perhaps this is just a personal observation. For a decent meal locally, we always choose Morley Hayes.

We booked in advance. The waitress greeted us, showed us to the table and was attentive and friendly for the entire meal. The food (pizza and fish) was well cooked. It was good to see the ham being sliced as needed. The staff were careful about food intolerance and did not need reminding.

Breakfast menu small but I would say something for everyone. My friend and I went for a maple pancake stack that came with pork belly, scrambled eggs and a full breakfast. The only downside for me is the eggs were very salty and more omelette than scrambled. The rest of the breakfast was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The decor inside is nice and of course the view of the marina also. Will definitely go back.

Had an incredible night celebrating our anniversary. Tasting experience was incredibly interesting and unique. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my partner's gluten intolerance, and every team member we spoke to were amiable, polite and great conversationalists.
