The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

Wat een fantastische ervaring! Het eten was geweldig en zag er ook prachtig uit. De bediening was enorm vriendelijk en maakten de avond extra bijzonder Een minpunt is het feit dat ze 2 shifts draaien op een avond. De snelheid waarmee het eten wordt opgediend is niet goed. Enkele keren hebben we gevraagd om dit aan te passen maar uiteindelijk bleek dat onze tafel voor een volgende gast weer nodig was. Dat is een 3 sterren restaurant onwaardig.

Het eten wat geserveerd werd, was ruim voldoende. De bediening kwam regelmatig langs om te vragen of er nog wensen waren. Kortom een gezellige sfeer en zeer goed eten.
