Nestled in the heart of Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, overlooking the Royal Canal, The Lock Keeper can be found at Lock #10. Steeped in heritage, this double lock was constructed c.1792. With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. Perfect Sunday Brunch experience. Celebrating friends birthday. Excellent cocktails and great food and vegetarian choices too. Friendly service overseen by attentive manager and staff. followed by a walk in the Botanic Garden nearby Job done. We will be back.

Fantastic food and service on your doorstep! Couldn't fault the experience with a superb service from Cathal, Kyle and the crew as we celebrated my wife's final exams on a Wednesday. Will definitely be back to try different pizzas and nibbles.

Good Staff, beautiful food. I really enjoyed the pork belly it almost melted at each bite. The Atmosphere was busy and cosy. Props to the chefs and staff really impressed with the food and service. Will 110% be back 💪
