Here at the Ship in Distress, we are the perfect retreat to sit back, relax and indulge in our delicious food with the perfect drink in hand. Fantastic as always. The salmon starter was so much more refined then anywhere else and the venison main course was the best venison I’ve eaten this year. Really enjoyed the banana souffle too. And such a good wine list

This was the second year having Christmas lunch at The Ship in Distress. The food was excellent, tasty , nicely presented and hot. Service by staff was very friendly and no shortage of smiles. Excellent Christmas Day lunch and will be booking for 2025.
