It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gathering places for two centuries. Sat at the bar for a change . Serice is always good at George Martins but at bar cannot be beat . I had the Berkshire Pork Chops and my wife had the meatloaf . Both were a 5 outta 5!

This is the best restaurant in Long Island and quite possibly the best diner we have ever been to. The staff are impeccably trained, gracious, helpful, and just lovely people. The food is amazing! Everything from their salads, to their sliders or chicken and waffles, everything on the menu is delicious. We come here often and love it! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!
