The first Oven Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, has been around since 1988 and owned/operated by a dedicated family of chefs who have been creating Indian cuisine for over twenty seven years. The Oven Restaurants specialize in Northern Indian Cuisine which is known for its rich colors, flavor profiles and a unique style of cooking in a clay oven, called the Tandoor. Chicken, shrimp and lamb marinate for several hours in a yogurt and spice mixture and placed on skewers while various breads are being hand made by our chefs fresh each day. Great experience overall! Really good food, service was great, and it was close to PBA for the game. A little on the expensive side but we don't go out often. Fun to see volleyball on TV as well as football!

We had a wonderful experience overall! The food was delicious, though there were a few mismatches between the descriptions and what we received. The server described the egg with the Steak and Eggs as shaved, but we were surprised to receive it sunny side up instead. As for the salmon, while the skin was flavorful and salty, the fish itself was a bit bland and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. On a positive note, the duck was absolutely delicious, and the drinks we ordered were fantastic as well. The staff were great throughout, providing excellent service and adding to the overall positive experience.
