Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers.     We had an exceptionally nice meal out here! The service was second to none, and they also made sure to look after our dog too. Great food, great wine and great vibe. My only disappointment was the portion size of the Chips considering the price, and that one of the steaks we ordered could've been a little hotter in temperature.

    We visited on a Monday lunch beautiful building and a lovely warm welcome nothing was too much trouble. The food we chose was delicious highly recommend a visit we will definitely be back thank you

    Our favourite place in the city, for a special occasion or to take friends. Stand out food every time, friendly and helpful team, all in a laid back setting with the best views in town. Gochujang beef tartare is etched into my taste buds for life!

    Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%
