Zaab Zaab is proud natives of Queens, opened their restaurant in the heart of Elmhurst’s Little Thailand in April of 2022 just before Songrkan, or Thai New Year. The destination for authentic Isaan cuisine from Northeastern Thailand has received numerous accolades, including a 3-star review from Pete Wells of The New York Times, and being listed two years in a row on the NYT’s 100 Best Restaurants in NYC as well as being nominated as a semifinalist in the outstanding Restaurateur category for the 2024 James Beard Foundation Awards. Zaab Zaab is also recognized as a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant.

“My original thinking when we opened the restaurant was to serve the local Thai community in Elmhurst,” says Chunton. “Clearly I underestimated New York City’s appetite for Northeastern Thai food. We now have five locations across Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan and are so proud to represent Thai food and culture in New York City.”

Austin's Ale House is a Bar and Restaurant in the Kew Gardens area of Queens, New York.     The food here is always great. I had the lamb and sea (lamb chops and shrimp) which was one of the specials. The lamb was cooked just as I asked (medium) and was a nice portion, along with 5 or 6 shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also had the mussels for an appetizer, some of the best I have had. Everyone at our table was too full for dessert. In fact, 3 out of the 5 of us took home leftovers. Nick’s Bistro remains one of our favorite restaurants both for the food and the value, as well as the friendly, attentive wait staff.

    What a wonderful little place with great service and lovely atmosphere!! My friend and I enjoyed our night out here and we will definitely return. The food is very good and the drinks are great.

    La Sala is a community gem! Wonderful staff great food and cocktails! The ambience is wonderful if you have never dine there please check them out on a Friday or Saturday you will love it!
