NiMo is a Coastal Mediterranean concept by Feal Hospitality, owned by dynamic duo Chef Niven Patel and Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar. The menu, itself, is a depiction of the bond formed by the partners over the years. It is the story of Mo, who grew up in the Mediterranean between Syria and Spain, told through the cuisine of his business partner, Chef Niven Patel. The menu is a culinary journey across the Mediterranean which includes dishes inspired by Syrian, Greek, and Spanish cuisine. Italy takes center stage with various pastas and wood fired pizza, a nod to Chef Niven’s time in Florence. We showed up for dinner late, as the evening was winding down. Everyone was very accommodating, the food was good, it was an enjoyable evening together and then we left.

We chose The Grove based on the positive reviews we read, unfortunately our experience did not match them. The ambience and service were very good. We were disappointed with both our entrees, especially the Eggplant Parmigiana. I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese with beef, it had way too much sauce on it, and tomato was the dominant flavor without any seasoning. My wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana, it was extremely tough, unable to cut it with a knife. Pretty much unable to eat it. They did replace the eggplant with another dish. Hopefully this was an isolated experience.

Excellent food fast service. Music was pleasant background not overly loud. Very nice outdoor dining area.. We had a Mahi sandwich, Tina poke salad and sandbar salad. Would recommend them all.
