Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio.     We went here to celebrate a birthday. the food was great. Traditional type dishes with a twist. Our server was attentive and efficient without rushing us. Reservations are a must.

    I absolutely loved the energy at The Block! The staff was so friendly, patient and helpful! Even who I believe was security was great. The food was also tasty, I will definitely be back. Live DJ from 12-3 during brunch on the weekend and he definitely had the vibes! I ordered the Say Less & it was good. My waitress Ebony was a delight. Money well spent!

    Our first tour of the iconic train station was followed by an iconic evening at Cork and Gabel. It was a lovely win-win. From the hostess, to the bartender to the the waitress and the team assisting them, we are verklempt! Keep up the kind, selfless, thoughtful work delivering delicious, hearty food💞
