An Irish-Victorian Bar and Restaurant, just steps from Union Square. In the "Ladies' Mile District" of days gone by. The interior has a distinctly late 19th century feel with wooden furnishings brought from Belfast, Ireland.Serving a wide range of domestic and international beers 25 on tap. A great selection of whiskeys and wines, including some excellent wine from the Langtry Winery in California where Lillie herself owned and lived for a time.The food is traditional Pub Fare. Dolly Varden was the PERFECT cocktail spot for a birthday get-together I had before a show:) The staff was so nice and attentive to my larger party of 14, and the vibe of the place and decor made it feel like a Christmas cabin getaway. Every drink we had was amazing and the food was wonderful as well! Will surely be back!

If I tell how fabulous the food is, it will just make it harder for me to get in next time. So why would I tell anyone that they make the best baked clams in the city? Or the veal chop smothered in peppers is to die for the fact I have been coming here for over thirty years and the quality hasn’t changed shouldn’t influence anyone to go to Montes so do me a favor and go somewhere else

Sugar Bar is a vibe!! I drove from Baltimore to visit. The hospitality, food, ambiance and bartender Terrell all top notch. Thursdays entertainment is worth the drive. One thing we did have a comment on is the cover charge for the upstairs. You watch the entertainment on a tv. We got paying the cover charge for the main room. My thoughts were the cover charge is for the host possibly. Either way, it is so worth visiting!!! We had an amazing time.
