Candela Cucina is an upscale Italian restaurant from Servedwell Hospitality in the historic Candleworks building. Candela Cucina is not just another Italian American restaurant, Candela is an authentic Italian restaurant. Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. The spot is nautical with a chef-driven yet approachable menu, a deep selection of spirts and an intriguing wine list. As with all of Silverstein’s places, while the food, drink and design are always top-notch, it is the warm hospitality that keeps ‘em coming back.

Service was stellar! Our waitress was very attentive. Food was also very tasty- the new fried Brussels sprouts were very good. Only issue was the kitchen must have forgotten to fire our kid’s chicken tenders. She munched on her fruit and fries and legit the tenders came out last. It happens- she still ended up eating them all.

Cisco Kitchen held a New Year's Sushi Brunch that was excellent. Their sushi is always good but the brunch took it to another level - Selection of different sushis, different noodle dishes, miso soup and other Asian dishes. All for $30 per person which is a genuine bargain. I'm glad we were able to attend - Thank you Cisco kitchen and your chefs!

Very sweet place! This was my first time at Carmines. I took my sister in law from out of state. I got the muscle littleneck app. Unfortunately they were not fresh.at all. Waitstaff amazing! My sister-in-law’s steak was good. Would go back for sure.
