Welcome to The Jolly Fisherman, Craster. Combining stunning sea views with delicious home cooking and beautifully kept ales, this is a tastefully refurbished pub with tradition and character at its heart.
We’ve taken great care to retain the charm of this historic pub with stone flagged floors, low beamed ceilings and comfortable seating. In the winter months, you can relax by one of our roaring open fires and in the summer enjoy the view from one of the most spectacular beer gardens in Northumberland.
What makes our food so special? In The Joiners Arms kitchen our ethos is simple – great quality food, locally sourced and lovingly prepared – this is the absolute key to the gastro experience we create for our guests. It’s honest, home-style cooking with a Northumbrian twist, showcasing the best of our region in our award-winning restaurant. It’s definitely been worth the muddy wellies to develop our signature styles and flavours with the help of our passionate local growers and producers. Our menus change seasonally to ensure that only the freshest ingredients end up on your plate.
Our nautical-themed pub decorated with fishing and marine artifacts has a beer garden overlooking the Seahouses harbour, a smart dining room where evening meals and Sunday lunches are served, a fascinating bar area where drinks can be enjoyed which exhibits the best of our maritime artefacts and a snug for those wishing to enjoy snacks with their drinks. Located only 15 minutes from neighbouring Bamburgh and Beadnell, this is a great spot for holiday makers and locals alike.
To keep you on your toes our head chef changes our evening menu regularly depending on what comes in fresh that day. Everything we offer is homemade and we source as much of the produce as we can as locally as possible. We always make sure there is a choice on the menu for Vegetarians, and we ask that when booking you let us know of any dietary requirements so we can tailor that evening’s menu appropriately.
