Inspired by the best pizza of New York City and Naples, Italy. In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand. In December 2013, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Burlingame.     We arrived 15 minutes early and were immediately seated. Restaurant was very busy. Staff was very polite and friendly. Service was exceptional. Food and beverages were served quickly. Everything was very well prepared and ready to eat. Drink refills were provided without having to ask. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning soon.

    JJ the person who takes orders and periodically checks in for any needs is one of the best assets of this establishment. My friend absolutely loved the Valentine’s Day experience that I hoped would have been the result when selecting this restaurant. I am not exactly carnivorous and would have preferred that I ordered what I did minus the meat however that is my issue as I was not feeling meat at the moment however my friend ordered the same and was happy to take mine home( minus the veggies and mashed potatoes which were perfectly cooked. Highly recommended and sit at a table where you will meet JJ. He made everything better than it would have been otherwise.
