Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. We had a fabulous meal , with brilliant service from the lovely Lauren. Everything was really good ,the steak skewer cooked perfectly and was delicious.

What an amazing little gem. We loved the bun club. But it was a bit of niche. But if you love food then this place is for you. Great varied menu and lots of choices. We had a bean chilli. Pork bites and calamari for starters. Mains were bangers and mash, pork belly and a smash burger (yes they still have them on the menu). We finished it with a sticky toffee pudding and ice Cream. The portions were huge. So you wouldn’t be hungry after. We loved it but it wasn’t that busy for a Saturday night. I hope they don’t get closed down again because I would be a regular.
