The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries. Our food is cooked to order, using fresh, seasonal and where possible locally sourced ingredients. Haven’t been to this pub for a long time but was super… food was good and service with a smile. Would go back for sure… only thing was It wasn’t very warm. Needed the fire lit as it was cold and miserable outside… and a little chilly in the room. But overall good! 😊

Superb!!!! Excellent tasty food, brilliant service, lovely ambience and the team really looked after us. It was my son's 18th birthday and we really appreciated the extra touches - thanks for a great evening!

We had a really nice meal yesterday served by a very nice smiley lady for whom nothing was too much trouble . Being older folk we havent got the appetites of yesteryear and she understood this and wasnt pushy for us to order more than we wanted . Excellent
