The Victorian dining room is full of grandeur and our restaurant team always go that little bit further to make serving a meal a magical experience. The views in the restaurant are spectacular, with sweeping vistas across the Fylde coast and the occasional heritage tram tootling by. Diners can soak in the scenery while enjoying fine dining from the table d’hôte menu that changes quarterly, according to the seasons. We also have a range of daily specials, with our chefs using locally sourced produce whenever possible to ensure that only the best and freshest ingredients are used. The restaurant has flexible seating arrangements, so we can cater for large parties and children are also well catered for, thanks to the family dining options. We went for the Friday Chippy Tea. Our food was fabulous. Perfect pudding, delicious fish and amazing chips. The pudding came with an extra little pot of gravy, just what a northerner needs 😉 Couldn’t fault anything. We were however on a tab,e in an area farthest from the fire and were initially all on our own, so felt a bit away from the real body of the pub, but that wasn’t so bad. Service was very good, didn’t have to wait long, and staff were friendly, polite and courteous.

Enjoyed the new lunch menu, good selection and value. Really good food and service but the music was intrusive with a heavy bass beat and not really needed in what is an excellent setting.

Our waiter - I’m sure he was called Frank, Scottish bloke was amazing, nothing too much trouble, very attentive nothing too much trouble. Food was fab great value - kids loved it too. My only slight complaint would be that it was cold in the room, but I also appreciate how cold the current weather is and such a huge building to heat. Will be back

As soon as we walked in we was welcomed by the lovely staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The customer service was 10/10. The food was delicious! It was quickly made and was served at the perfect temperature. It was the most loveliest experience we both have ever had when eating out. I would highly recommend :)
