A beautiful village pub recently fully restored with a historic beamed bar, cosy snug room & elegant restaurant. A classic English beer garden and seating area to the front are great for Al fresco drinking and dining. 8 Brand new bedrooms opened during the summer 2016. We are proud partners with Lacons brewery and feature their range of top quality craft Ales.Our food features traditional favorites as well as some interesting and great tasting contemporary dishes. Bar snacks and nibbles together with starters, mains, puddings and a children's menu ensures there is something for all tastes and occasions. Very quiet at The Buck, to be expected so soon after Christmas. Really perfect time to catch up with an old friend. Great service from our waitress and fabulous food. It was very nice to be able to park easily in the car park, it's usually rammed which says a lot for how popular a place it is.

Booked for a birthday. Food was great and plentiful. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Waiter recommended the monkfish Thai curry which was thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.
