Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, been renowned for hospitality and generosity as well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. Located at the heart of Tuscany, it has a history of exporting mouth-watering wines to England, having been possibly the very first to bring Chianti here in 1725. The menu features true Tuscan cuisine, with many of the ingredients being imported especially from the Villa and surrounding farms. We went there for my wife’s birthday. It was very quiet- we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was tasty. I recommend the ‘seafood spaghetti. As a surprise they even brought out a small dessert with a candle for us to share. Our first visit but probably not our last.

We had a great time however we were surprised to find out on arrival that the kitchen closes at 3pm even though we had a 2.45pm sitting, and we were told that we would thereafter be able to order drinks and not food. This should be made clear upon booking as we then would have booked an earlier table without having to frantically read the menu and order in a rush.

This is one of our favourite restaurants which we always come back for special occasions. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. We always feel welcome and well looked after. The staff are very friendly with our children too which is really nice. Highly recommend!!

Had a great time here. Would’ve been nice to hear a few more Christmas songs from the DJ (who was excellent!!) and Prosecco topped up more frequently. Otherwise, a great afternoon . Will be back!
