We booked The Lodge at Salhouse off the cuff on the same day( New yrs day) as had not been before and they did not disappoint. From start to finish it was a lovely experience, polite and friendly staff, lovely decor and table setting. Food was delicious, served hot and plenty to fill you up. I had chicken supreme with a truffle veloute and dauphnoise potatoes, portion sizes are very generous, My partner had the belly pork and it was huge lol but he was in food heaven lol x Service was prompt, friendly and overall a very lovely experience x

Came to the Red lion from Cambridge in the summer and sat near the river Such a lovely setting Came back to Norwich and decided to book Sunday lunch Had the pork belly and Roast beef Have to say it’s the best roast we have had 10/10 for everything Gary and Linda Cambridge

Go hungry! Excellent food, beautifully presented, and plenty of it for a change. The staff are all attentive and personable, and the atmosphere friendly. The Cellar House hits a balanced note between being relaxed and upmarket, a place where you can drop in for a drink at the bar, sit in the bar area for light snacks or have the most delicious food served in the restaurant. We went twice, once in October and then on Christmas Day. (If roast potatoes are always a disappointment outside of home, these weren't!). We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I fairly close to William & Florence so have the opportunity to visit fairly often and I have never had a meal that I have not enjoyed and the service has always been very goid
